Arsenal revealed the reason behind the absence of Gabonese striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, from the team’s list against Everton on Saturday night, in the 14th round of the Premier League matches.
Aubameyang was not mentioned in the team’s list for the match, which is a painful blow to the hopes of Arsenal, who wants to win in order to improve their low position on the league table.
Arsenal said in a tweet on his official account on the “Twitter” platform that Aubameyang will miss the match due to his suffering from a leg pull.
Aubameyang had broken a long fast of scoring in the last game of the team, when he scored the equalizer for Arsenal against Southampton (1-1).
In Aubameyang’s absence, England defender Rob Holding will wear the captain’s armband during the match.
