Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta expressed his happiness with his team’s 4-0 victory over West Bromwich in the Premier League’s 17th round.
In a cold atmosphere, and the floor was sometimes covered with heavy snowfall, Arsenal managed a deserved victory after an impressive attacking performance.
“A very convincing victory, winning the last three matches in the Christmas period is not easy, when conditions were better, we played good football, we had to deal with some periods because the stadium was difficult,” Arteta told Sky Sports after the match.
He added: “The first goal, the move by Kieran Tierney was great, and there was a great combination in the second goal, a great offensive style today.”
Arteta praised his Scottish player, Kieran Tierney, who played a great game and capped his effort with a special goal, and said: “He was amazing since I came here, from the moment he came back from a shoulder injury, he gave a great performance.”
He continued, “I am very happy that we were able to achieve our goal. The ranking table looks completely different, the energy is different, and victories bring confidence. We have a week to prepare for another competition. We have great memories of winning the FA Cup.”
