Aston Villa regained the tone of victories in the Premier League, after returning from the home of West Bromwich Albion, with a big victory (3-0) on Sunday, in the 14th round.
The “Fellans” owed the credit for this victory to the Dutch star, of Moroccan origin, Anwar Ghazi, who scored two goals (the first) (and the third from a penalty kick) in minutes 5 and 88.
Burkina star Bertrand Traore scored the second goal in the 84th minute.
West Bromwich player Jack Livermore was sent off in the 37th minute, after a violent intervention on Aston Villa star Jack Grealish.
With this, Aston Villa returns to the winning streak, after the last round faltered in a negative draw against Burnley, and the three points raised their score to 22 points, to finish 9th, with a remaining match against Manchester City.
On the other hand, the departure of the Croatian coach Slaven Bilić and the arrival of Sam Allardyce did not help in improving the results, as the team suffered its third loss in the last 5 rounds, stuck at 7 points in the 19th place.
