Football coaches often keep their papers confidential, but Leeds United’s coach, Marcelo Bielsa, has no problem showing his papers.
Bielsa announced his starting line-up for his match tomorrow, Friday, against West Ham United in the Premier League, two days before the match.
When asked today, Wednesday, who will join Commander Liam Cooper in the defense in the absence of the injured Diego Llorente and Robin Koch, Bielsa replied through an interpreter saying that he might involve Luke Ayling or Calvin Phillips.
He was then asked if he would hide his cards from West Ham before the match at Island Rhode Island.
The Argentine coach said, “Rodrigo Moreno will play instead of Llorente, and the basic line-up will be as follows: Meslier, Dallas, Ayling, Cooper, Ezgjan Alioski, Phillips, Klich, Moreno, Raphinha, Bamford and Harrison.”
Bielsa said that Koch will be absent for up to 3 months, due to a knee injury that required surgery, while Llorente faces absence for weeks after suffering a muscle injury during the 3-1 defeat by Chelsea on Saturday.
Leeds is ranked 14th in the standings with 14 points, after 4 wins, 2 draws and 4 defeats.
