Burnley returned to the winning streak in the Premier League by defeating Wolverhampton, with two goals to one, Monday evening at Turf Moore, in the 14th round of the English Premier League.
The home side scored a goal in each half, as veteran striker Ashley Barnes opened the scoring record in the 35th minute.
In the 51st minute of the match, New Zealand striker Chris Wood added the second goal.
In stoppage time, the young Portuguese, Fabio Silva, scored an honorable goal for the guests from the penalty spot.
Burnley returned with this result to the winning track, raising the team’s score to 13 points, jumping to 16th place, and moving away from the danger zone by 3 points, with a postponed match against Manchester United.
As for Wolverhampton received its third loss in the last 5 rounds, the 6th of this season, to freeze at 20 points in the 11th place.
