Fulham announced, today, Thursday, that its coach Scott Parker will not be with the team when they host Southampton, on Saturday, because he is isolating himself after a positive result among his family members to Covid-19 test.

Fulham added that the test result of Parker, 40, was negative for the Coronavirus, and said that he would return to lead the team in the next match away from home against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday, if his test result was negative again.

The London club said in a statement, “After a member of his family was infected with Covid-19, and although his test result was negative, Scott is currently isolating himself according to the instructions.”

Assistant coach Stuart Gray will lead the team against Southampton.

Fulham is 18th in the standings with 10 points and two points from the safety zone.
