A British press report revealed, today, Wednesday, the truth about the postponment of Manchester City and Chelsea’s match, scheduled for next Sunday in the 17th round of the Premier League.
The Premier League’s Association had postponed the Man City match against Everton, last Monday, in the 16th round due to the outbreak of Corona infections, in the coach Pep Guardiola’s battalion.
Many press reports claimed that the Premier League was also on its way to postponing the Manchester City match against Chelsea.
According to the “Mirror” newspaper, the Premier League’s Association will give Man City the green light to play the Chelsea match, following Manchester’s announcement, today, that no new Coronavirus’ cases have appeared.
It indicated that the Premier League’s Association also estimates the return of the Manchester City first team to training at the club’s academy.
The newspaper stated that there are 5 coronavirus’ cases in Manchester City, they are Kyle Walker and Gabriel Jesus, in addition to three others unannounced.
“Mirror” said that Manchester City will undergo a new tests, next Saturday, 24 hours before the Chelsea confrontation, which will play a decisive role in the establishment of the meeting.
