Arsenal legendary coach Arsene Wenger confirmed that he would consider returning to the London club, but he ruled out asking him to do so.
Wenger has not coached any team since his 22-year career with Arsenal ended in 2018.
Since then, the Spaniard Unai Emery coached Arsenal without achieving the required results, to be dismissed in the middle of last season, as former team player Mikel Arteta took over the task.
Arsenal have not provided the required levels and results since Wenger’s departure, and the team is trailing in the Premier League at this moment.
In an interview with “Men in Blazers” magazine, the French coach stated: “I hope nothing, if they need me, I will help them, but I do not expect that .. No.”
Wenger still resented the way he was treated upon being dispensed, but he seemed optimistic about the possibility of returning to the club again, and about that he said: “Time is a good doctor as you know.”
